Lee Chong Wei is the best Malaysian badminton player of all time and a Malaysian national hero.

He is the only Malaysian player who won three medals in the Olympic Games (silver in 2008, 2012, and 2016), and even rewarded by a Dato title in Malaysia after his first Olympic medal!

His story is so inspirational that a movie named after him – Lee Chong Wei: Rise Of The Legend! – was released. The movie premiere was held on March 9, 2018. And don’t forget all that money this giant-hearted man donated all around the globe! He is a real example of a world-class athlete!

Goh Liu Ying

Goh Liu Ying is one of the cutest badminton players ever.

She plays very successfully alongside her partner, Chan Peng Soon, and she is an expert for mixed doubles.

Chan Peng Soon is known as the mixed doubles expert badminton player. His partner is Goh Liu Ying, and the two are ranked among the ten best mixed-doubles in the world. They were ranked 3rd in the world in 2013.

Tan Wee Kiong competes in badminton doubles. He knows to defend like a pro but he also uses his smashing power effectively and punishes the opponents who leave one side of the court opened.

Tan earned the silver medal at the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro in men’s doubles. He is also known for Commonwealth Games two gold medals in 2014, Southeast Asian Games bronze medal, and two third places from Asian Games in 2014.

Tan Boon Heong

Tan Boon Heong is the Malaysian doubles legend. He didn’t have much success in the senior category until he was paired with Koo Kien Keat. Tan Boon has one of the best agility, footwork, and reaction time you have ever seen.

Sidek won German Open two times, Swedish Open two times, Malaysia Open and many other tournaments. Misbun is the runner-up of All-England tournament, Thomas Cup, and Southeast Asian Games. He was also third at the World Championships in 1980.

Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin

Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin is a very talented young badminton player for Malaysia.

He was the member of the Malaysia third-placed singles in 2018 Thomas Cup, helping them qualify for the quarterfinals.

You can call Iskandar one of the greatest offensive players ever seen.

Iskandar won one bronze medal at the Summer Universiade, one bronze medal at the Asian Games. His other notable achievements are one silver and one bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games, and a bronze at Asian Team Championships.
